The Wonders of Nature on the Human Body: Painting Fluorescent Landscapes

John Poppleton, a prospective photographer and artist made amazing  in tune with the nature. What he did borders on the world of unreal.

Fueled by his reverence for the natural world, the Northern Utah-based artist and photographer John Poppleton paints fluorescent landscapes onto the backs of nude bodies with temporary pigments.

What he did this time was absolutely breath taking. He actually chose to use temporary fluorescent resources and apply them to the human body. The way it was painted itself was nothing spectacular, as compared to the other works of this sort. The photos were all taken with a black background and it was the very absence of color that made these effects come into the primary focus point and radiate beauty.

In a dark, black setting, these fluorescent cells set off to create a magnificent, almost magical glow which made the pictures painted on the human bodies look unreal, as if Mother Nature herself used the women’s bodies as a canvas to paint some of the most miraculous scenes. The fury of the storm, the peace of the sunrise, the mystic waterfall, the mysterious galaxy, they all take place on a female body in this breath taking attempt to bring the nature closer to us in this extremely creative, ground breaking way.
Here are some of his amazing works:
