USOs (Unidentified Submerged Objects) sightings have exploded in last few years particularly in the Gulf areas of the United States. With so many sighting of UFOs emerging from the water it leads many to believe that there is a large underwater Alien Base in the Gulf area.
Underwater UFO Bases Bill Hamilton writes “What secrets lurk in ocean depths? Are there alien forms of intelligent life that occupy the vast volumes of water that constitute our oceans, seas, and lakes?” The largest of our oceans, the Pacific, covers 64,000,000 square miles and reaches a depth of 36,198 feet, a depth that no ray of sunlight ever reaches. Could these depths hide alien submarine bases? Underwater UFOs have been sighted on many occasions lifting out of their submerged depths and taking to the air. In an article entitled “UFOs – at 450 Fathoms,” UFO Reporter Ed Hyde told of the sighting made by Dr. R. J. Villela, a Brazilian scientist, who saw a UFO smash through an estimated 40 feet of ice at the South Pole and soar into the sky at amazing speed. It was author and researcher Dr. Ivan T. Sanderson who suggested that aliens could remain undetected by building their bases beneath the world’s oceans. Dr. Sanderson found that by actual count, over 50 percent of the UFO sightings had occurred over, coming from, or plunging into or coming out of water. This includes oceans, seas, lakes, and reservoirs. Of the oceanic UFOs (some term them USOs or Unidentified Submersible Objects), one was tracked by the U.S. Navy near Puerto Rico in 1963. Of course many of these objects have been tracked over Puerto Rico since that time. On a training maneuver, a sonar operator detected a sub aqueous object traveling at over 150 knots! The technicians tracked this object for four days and it maneuvered down to the incredible depth of 27,000 feet. Submarines of 1963 could not dive further than a fraction over a mile into the ocean deeps. What kind of submersible could withstand the tremendous ocean pressures? And how could it overcome the tremendous resistance of water moving at such incredible speeds? Scientists still have to find irrefutable evidence proving the existence of UFOs. Hundreds of new reports on UFOs appear everyday. One percent of those reports remain a mystery unraveled though 99% of them could be explained by natural or man-made factors.

THE MOST FAMOUS USO SIGHTING WAS IN 1967 AT SHAG HARBOUR, CANADA
An extraordinary event in 1967 would practically put the small fishing village of Shag Harbor on the map. Located at the southern tip of Nova Scotia, this rural community would be host to one of the best documented UFO events of the past 40 years.
Named after the “shag,” a bird of the cormorant family, the harbor was literally left off most maps of the time, but that would be changed once and for all.
The first indication of this mysterious occurrence would come from local residents who noticed strange orange lights in the sky on the night of October 4, 1967. Most witnesses agreed that there were four orange lights that evening. Five teenagers watched these lights flash in sequence, and then suddenly dive in a 45 degree angle toward the water’s surface. The witnesses were surprised that the lights did not dive into the water, but seemed to float on the water, approximately one-half mile from the shore.
Witnesses at first thought they were watching a tragic airplane crash, and quickly reported as much to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, which was located at Barrington Passage. Coincidently, RCMP Constable Ron Pound had already witnessed the strange lights himself as he drove down Highway 3 in route to Shag Harbor. Pound felt that he was seeing 4 lights, all attached to one flying craft. He estimated the craft to be about 60 feet long.
Constable Pound made his way to the shore to get a closer look at the phenomenal sight. He was accompanied by Police Corporal Victor Werbieki, Contable Ron O’Brien, and other local residents. Pound clearly saw a yellow light slowly moving on the water, leaving a yellowish foam in its wake. All eyes were glued on the light, as it slowly either moved too distant to be seen, or dipped into the icy waters.
Coast Guard Cutter #101 and other local boats rushed to the spot of the sighting, but by the time they arrived, the light itself was gone. However, the crewmen could still see the yellow foam, indicating that something had possibly submerged. Nothing else could be found that night, and the search was called off at 3:00 AM.
The RCMP ran a traffic check with the Rescue Coordination Centre in Halifac, and NORAD radar at Baccaro, Nova Scotia. They were told that there were no missing aircraft reported that evening, either civilian, or military.
Soon, the story of the mysterious crash at Shag Harbor died as quickly as it had begun. That is, until 1993. As the original story faded from papers and newscasts, several theories were put forward. One explanation was that a Russian spacecraft had crashed, which would explain the presence of a Russian submarine in the area. There was also the rumor of American involvement in the follow-up investigation, but there was no official statement from the United States.
The Shag Harbor incident would have new life breathed into it through the efforts of MUFON investigator Chris Styles. The case intrigued him so much that he decided to search for more details. Styles found the names of many of the original witnesses through newspaper clippings, and was able to interview many of them.
Styles was assisted by MUFON investigator Doug Ledger. These two men would uncover some extremely compelling evidence through their interviews. They discovered that when the divers of the Granby finished their work, the case was not over, after all.
The divers, along with other witnesses related these events: The object that dove into the waters of the harbor had soon left the Shag area, traveling underwater for about 25 miles to a place called Government Point, which was near a submarine detection base. The object was spotted on sonar there, and Naval vessels were positioned over it. After a couple of days, the military was planning a salvage operation, when a second UFO joined the first. Common belief at the time was that the second craft had arrived to render aid to the first.
At this time, the Navy decided to wait and watch. After about a week of monitoring the two UFOs, some of the vessels were called to investigate a Russian submarine which had entered Canadian waters. At this point, the two underwater craft made their move. They made their way to the Gulf of Maine, and putting distance between themselves and the chasing Navy boats, they broke the surface, and shot away into the skies.
These extraordinary events were corroborated by many witnesses, both civilian and military. Unfortunately, the reports were given “off the record.” Ex-military personnel feared the loss of their pensions, and civilian witnesses feared ridicule, and their privacy being invaded. The unusual events of Shag Harbor command an important place in the study of UFOs. There is little doubt that something “unknown” crashed into the waters of Shag Harbor on October 4, 1967.

FIVE TO SEVEN MILES LARGE OBJECT SPOTTED OVER THE OCEAN BY NASA PHOTOGRAPH
In a picture taken in November 2013 by NASA, a large dark disc was spotted hovering over the ocean. The circular object was discovered by YouTube user, Streetcap1.

NASA picture taken by German astronaut Alexander Gerst from the International Space Station and sent on his Twitter feed shows the sun reflecting off the water. The Twitter feed is dated July 17, 2014. Reuters
The Huffington Post reported that the spotted disc was about five to seven miles wide and black in colour. It stated that the dimensions of the disc were perfect in symmetry.
The news about the Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) was first reported by the UFO Sightings Daily, on Thursday. The Huffington Post describes the UFO Sightings Daily as a blog that publishes, “content on the greatest conspiracies in human history once every 24 hours.”
The website states that though the image of the UFO is not very clear and it appears as though it is above the ocean, it actually is below it. It states that the object is hiding underneath. The reason could be to stay away from public eye. “Since it is over the ocean area, the only place that it could hide without being noticed is below the ocean,” it reported.
The YouTube video posted by Streetcap1 has received several views. The video gained further popularity when Cosmos News posted the video of the 5 mile wide UFO. Several people were taken aback by the sight of the object. While some believed it to be true, some were skeptical about it. Horatio Hernandez, a YouTube user who commented on the video, believes it is a camera glitch. While a few others have thanked the user for spotting it and bringing it to the limelight.
The Huffing Post on the other hand said that there is a probability that the image could be formed due to camera glitches. It could have also been caused due to missing gaps that are formed in the course of combining smaller images together to create a larger one for publication.

MALIBU, CALIFORNIA: “UNDERWATER” ALIEN BASE
A little more than 6 miles off the coast of Point Dume in Malibu, California, an unusual-looking structure sits on the sea bed floor. Based on images obtained on Google Earth, the oval-shaped object has a huge flat top and what appear to be pillars or columns that seem to reveal the entrance to a darker, inner place.
The anomaly — for the moment, we’ll call it that — is approximately 2,000 feet below the surface of the water, measuring nearly 3 miles wide. What exactly is this thing?
HuffPost reached out to John Anthony West, an independent Egyptologist, who won an Emmy award for his research for the 1993 NBC documentary, “Mystery of the Sphinx,” in which he and geologist Robert Schoch presented evidence that the Great Sphinx of Giza may be thousands of years older than previously thought.
“The pictures are a bit misleading in that it looks as though it’s on the shore,” West told HuffPost. “My first reaction — knowing that it was 2,000 feet under the water — was that, under no circumstances could it, in fact, be artificial, manmade. And I have enough experience, looking at geology and distinguishing between what could perhaps be artificial, and then there’s sort of a gray area in-between. As far as I’m concerned, there’s no gray area.”
West says he’s inclined to go along with the geological explanation.
“It doesn’t look at all manmade. It has what look like pillars there, but they’re unevenly spaced and then, to the right, you see other seemingly pillars still attached, actually, to the bedrock, in the process of forming.”
And yet, West acknowledges Unidentified Flying Objects.
“I’m convinced that UFOs are a reality — there’s too much evidence out there. Beyond that, we don’t know anything. We don’t know who they are, why they’re here, [or] how much of this stuff is our own government. A point beyond that is that anything that isn’t explained or that can’t be explained by current scientific methods, automatically it’s aliens. It’s the explanation of last resort, and I just don’t buy that.”
Also weighing in on the Malibu mystery is former FBI Special Agent Ben Hansen, who has an extensive background investigating and analyzing questionable pictures and videos.
“This was taken from a different angle of the ‘mysterious base,'” Hansen told HuffPost in an email. “The dark areas that people are saying look like the inside of the base really starts to look just like shading of indentations to the shelf, and the ‘pillars’ are now represented as jagged ridges.”
Hansen cautions about how we interpret things we see on Google Earth.
“Google obtains their underwater data from several different sources, including satellite radar and echo sonar from the Navy, NOAA, NASA and other agencies. Because they often use very different technologies, the derived information isn’t always going to agree. When it doesn’t, Google relies on its automatic 3D auto-generation programs to make sense of it.
“We’re dealing with limited information to render the graphic because we can see it evidenced in the disparity of image quality between the anomaly and the areas immediately surrounding it,” Hansen added. “The blurry sections and jagged edges obviously suggest a patchwork of image processing has taken place.”
In the end, we’re left with a variety of theories to explain the Malibu anomaly, a.k.a. Sycamore Knoll. Will the UFO-alien-underwater-base proponents be eventually proven right, leaving geologists in the deep blue dust, scratching their heads and wondering how they got it wrong?
A massive underwater entrance has been discovered off the Malibu, CA coast at Point Dume which appears to be the Holy Grail of UFO/USO researchers that have been looking for it over the last 40 years.
The plateau structure is 1.35 miles x 2.45 miles wide, 6.66 miles from land and the entrance between the support pillars is 2745 feet wide and 630 feet tall. It also has what looks like a total nuclear bomb proof ceiling that is 500 feet thick.
The discovery was made by Maxwell, Dale Romero and Jimmy Church, host of FADE to BLACK on the Dark Matter Radio Network on Monday, May 12th 2014 and announced on Facebook, Twitter and Church’s radio program the following day.
The underwater base has been a mystery for many years with hundreds of UFO/USO sightings…many with photographs…but the entrance of the base has remained elusive…until now.
The entrance can support nuclear sized submarines and massive UFO/USO activity and allow access to different military installations that are inside the US such as the China Lake Naval Base that is in the middle of the Mojave desert and the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Hawthorne, NV between Las Vegas and Reno.
In the photographs you can see its relation to the coastline, Los Angeles and its natural surroundings which to not match up with the structure itself…which is massive in scale. The support pillars to the entrance are over 600 feet tall.
UPDATE:
The depth from the surface of the water to the top of the structure is is 450 meters or 1476 feet and to the bottom of the entrance is 700 meters or 2296 feet. Below are an additional nine images taken from due south looking north, going around and ending due north looking south towards Los Angeles and Santa Monica. Included is the new topographic study image done on May 22, 2014 by Dale Romero.

RUSSIAN NAVY : ALIEN UNDERWATER
USO’s: Unidentified Submerged Objects or Underwater-UFOs or UFOs leaving water or entering water are an underreported phenomenon. The Russian navy has declassified its records of encounters with unidentified objects technologically surpassing anything humanity ever built, reports Svobodnaya Pressa news website. The records dating back to soviet times were compiled by a special navy group collecting reports of unexplained incidents delivered by submarines and military ships. The group was headed by deputy Navy commander Admiral Nikolay Smirnov, and the documents reveal numerous cases of possible UFO encounters, the website says. Vladimir Azhazha, former navy officer and a famous Russian UFO researcher, says the materials are of great value. “Fifty percent of UFO encounters are connected with oceans. Fifteen more – with lakes. So UFOs tend to stick to the water,” he said.
On August 18, 1980, according to Moscow UFO expert eph radmanovic. O XX report. The Russian expedition ships eph radmanovic. WoErDi rove number, from the dragon triangle slow to Japan’s Okinawa river, just after midnight suddenly without warning in the case.
The recently declassified documents contain Soviet era reports detailing many cases of possible USO encounters. Former naval officer and Russian UFO researcher Vladimir Azhazha believes these documents are of great value. One of the most interesting cases he examined involved a nuclear submarine on a combat mission in the Southern Pacific. During the routine operation, the submarine detected six unknown objects travelling in formation at speeds in excess of 230 knots (265+ mph). In comparison, the fastest submarine was the Soviet K-222, which reached about 44 knots (51 mph).
LAKE BAIKAL
Another place where people often report UFO encounters is Russia’s Lake Baikal, the deepest fresh water body in the world. Fishermen tell of powerful lights coming from the deep and objects flying up from the water. In one case in 1982 a group of military divers training at Baikal spotted a group of humanoid creatures dressed in silvery suits. The encounter happened at a depth of 50 meters, and the divers tried to catch the strangers. Three of the seven men died, while four others were severely injured. “I think about underwater bases and say: why not? Nothing should be discarded,” says Vladimir Azhazha.“Skepticism is the easiest way: believe nothing, do nothing. People rarely visit great depths. So it’s very important to analyze what they encounter there.”
